Offline, traditional network marketing schemes will come and go, but the Internet is here to stay. Those who either have a product to sell or have the creativity to develop a value-laden product to sell will have to develop Internet marketing skills to stay alive.

Success in online network marketing (or affiliate marketing, or any home-based business, for that matter) is achieved by the person who stands out as a leader by mastering attraction marketing principles, offering value to others, constantly learning and growing in business and being willing to help others along the way.

ATTRACTION MARKETING PRINCIPLES

Attraction marketing principles are the opposite of shameless self-promotion. You don’t blare out you have a business opportunity or product and obnoxiously talk about it with everyone you meet and come across. This is what gives salesmen a bad name.

Attraction marketing is what is used by truly successful salesmen and affiliate marketers. The Internet has made attraction marketing principles more potentially successful than ever. Essentially, it means you get people to come to you and choose to do business with you by creating value. You must make yourself and your business attractive. There are proven ways of doing this.

Do not try to be all things to all people. No person can do this and no business can do this. You want to become a specialist in your chosen niche because, even if you have broad knowledge, there is so much intense competition out there that if you don’t offer something that utterly differentiates you, you’ll just be lost in the shuffle. Your business needs to fill a niche, and target only the people who are most likely to be interested in that niche. You need to be a master of this niche, a set-apart leader who establishes yourself as doing it a little better than everyone else.

Along with this, approach your Internet marketing the same way. Choose only one or two out of the set of Internet marketing tools and establish a powerful presence in those markets, being a master of and leader in your chosen format(s).

Your marketing must be oriented towards creativity and quality content. Leaders give content. If your marketing content sounds like a pitch, you aren’t practicing attraction marketing.

Give people as much free stuff as you can without giving away the farm. People want to do business with people who are willing to share with them; sharing builds trust.

Consistency is all. To be a leader, you have to do what you do every single day. Don’t get caught up in what seems “urgent” when you have necessary tasks to attend to—those “urgent” things are hardly ever important, and what’s really important is hardly ever urgent. Learn about and do the marketing program for your business every day. When you are first starting out, it will be a while before you see much in the way of results, but if you are consistent the payoff will come. Time management is extremely important—make your business your priority and don’t get caught up in peripheral matters.

”Time equals Life. Therefore, waste your time and waste your life, or master your time and master your life,” says Alan Lakein.

You can get ahead of the curve by learning those skills now, do it with a system that teaches it thoroughly and clearly, at a reasonable price. Don’t put off your decision. If you want a new life of independence, self-reliance, and more money, learn Internet and Network Marketing.

Tony Robbins discusses the “invisible forces” that motivate everyone’s actions.

For some of us “winning” is a very simple concept. You create  a goal, you make a plan and when you achieve it, you are a winner.  We all consciously want to win, but there’s actually much more to it then that, because the way your mindset operates in the background, it has its own definition for “winning,” and whether you like it or not, you are controlled by it.

THERE ARE 5 TYPES OF MINDSETS:

1. The person that wins when they are comfortable. This person’s primary goal is to just go through life as comfortably as possible. They don’t want to be pushed or challenged. Everything they do is designed to support their pursuit of comfort.

2. The person that wins by being liked. This person’s primary goal in life is to be liked. They want acceptance from everyone, and will do just about anything to reach that goal. They’d rather be liked, than be right or wrong or rich.

When you put someone like this in a leadership role, the business will usually fail because they won’t be willing to make difficult decisions that would upset someone. They would try to please everyone all the time because their ultimate motivation is to be liked by others. Between being liked and being rich, they choose being liked.

They tend to reach a ceiling when it comes to money, their career, and relationships, because they can’t accept their short-comings in order to move past them and achieve personal growth.  Arguing with this person never works because they’ll always find a way to prove you wrong.

In order to win, this person must be right, even if it means sabotaging their chances to success.

4. The person that wins by losing. This person wins by being a victim.  All they want is sympathy from others. If something goes wrong it’s never their fault.  And, just when things start to go right, they will sabotage themselves to make it go wrong and say, “I knew it wouldn’t work” and give you a long list of reasons that blame someone else.

Their lives are always filled with problems because they don’t win unless they lose, so they create circumstances and excuses that help them fulfill that destiny. These are the typical people that say “Your opportunity is not real.” “Your product doesn’t do anything.” “I don’t have the money.”  “This is just another scam.”

This category describes many leaders on our team…… and all other successful entrepreneurs in general, so you also want to develop this mindset if you’re looking to win big!   Winning is their reward! This type of person welcomes the necessary discomfort that naturally confronts them because it provides new opportunities to win. They don’t rollover and say, “I quit” because the challenge was difficult.   

ACCEPT DISCOMFORT AS A WELCOMED FRIEND, SINCE IT MEANS THAT YOU’RE ATTEMPTING TO DO SOMETHING THAT MOST WON’T.  KNOW THAT THIS DISCOMFORT IS ONLY TEMPORARY, BUT THAT THE FINANCIAL FREEDOM AND TIME FREEDOM WILL LAST A LIFETIME!

After reading this section, you’re probably taking a hard look at yourself right now… Which one of Kiyosaki’s 5 mindsets are you currently operating in?

There are people who are not wealthy because they want to be right. There are people who never build a business they want to be comfortable. There are people who are constantly struggling because they win by losing.

The healthiest of all human emotions is gratitude; and the mind is a powerful thing.  Our approach and attitude toward working our internet network marketing business can make or break our path to success.  Think about it.

Becoming A True Believer
Every one of them has been amazed at the incredible power of goal setting and strategic planning. Every one of them has accomplished far more than they ever believed possible in selling and they ascribe their success to the deliberate process of thinking through every aspect of their work and their lives, and then developing a detailed, written road map to get them where they wanted to go.

The Definition of Happiness
Happiness has been defined as, “The progressive achievement of a worthy ideal, or goal.” When you are working progressively, step-by-step toward something important to you, you generate within yourself a continuous feeling of success and achievement.

You feel more positive and motivated. You feel more in control of your own life. You feel happier and more fulfilled. You feel like a winner, and you soon develop the psychological momentum to overcome obstacles and plough through adversity as you move toward achieving the goals most important to you.

Determine Your Values
Personal strategic planning begins with your determining what it is you believe in and stand for your values. Your values lie at the very core of everything you are as a human being. Your values are the unifying principles and core beliefs of your personality and your character. The virtues and qualities you stand for are what constitute the person you have become from the beginning of your life to this moment.

Your values, virtues and inner beliefs are the axle around which the wheel of your life turns. All improvement in your life begins with your clarifying your true values and committing yourself to live consistent with them.

Fuzzy or Clear?
Successful people are successful because they are very clear about their values.

Build Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem
Values clarification is the beginning exercise in building self-confidence, self-esteem and personal character. When you take time to think through your fundamental values, and then commit yourself to living your life consistent with them, you feel a surge of mental strength and well-being. You feel stronger and more capable. You feel more centered in the universe and more competent of accomplishing the goals you set for yourself.

Action Exercises
Here are two things you can do immediately to put these ideas into action.

First, decide for yourself what makes you truly happy and then organize your life around it. Write down your goals and make plans to achieve them.

Second, write down the top ten benefits you will receive by accomplishing your goals and refer to them often.
