Blog Rush Shutting Down?
Blog Rush Shutting Down? I was shocked when I read Blog Rush was shutting down. My first thoughts was what am I going to use now to find other blogs in the same niche as my own.
It was over a year ago when John Reese created a “buzz” on the internet with his launch of Blog Rush. One of the first things I did when I started this blog was to apply for Blog Rush and install the widget on my blog. Now, I was ready to have my posts “automatically promoted on related blogs across the internet” while Blog Rush “works to exponentially grow my blog’s traffic.” Well, I never did see much difference before or after putting Blog Rush on my site.
In case you weren’t familiar with Blog Rush let me explain. In simple terms, BlogRush provided a sidebar widget which pulled the title of posts from the RSS feeds of bloggers in your category, which were then displayed on the widget on your blog. Your titles were displayed on the widgets of blogs in your category and so in effect BlogRush was a traffic exchange program.
I liked it and thought it was a good tool for finding other blogs in the same niche. So now with Blog Rush gone what do you think will be the next thing to fill the void? I will most definitely miss my Blog Rush and the enjoyment it gave me to find other blogs along the same niche.
