List building by setting up a blog linked with an RSS feed will be more efficient for your customer base and business leads to stay in constant communications with your latest updates, news or specials you may be running. RSS which stands for Really Simple Syndication means your blog will be automatically delivered to anyone who has subscribed through the RSS feed found on your blog. All they need is an RSS reader such as Google Reader which is a free service to access your blog. Each time you update your blog the RSS feed is automatically updated in your subscribers reader program or web browser. This not only helps you stay in contact with your subscriber base, but they are also more likely to read your updated content than their email since they are subscriber based. You won’t have to concern yourself with email spam or email filters and email blocking software.

If you do any amount of reading and research you will soon see blogging and RSS feeds have many advantages. The great news for internet marketers are blogs and RSS feeds are loved by the search engines. Blogs provide new and updated content that searchers are looking for which helps give them a higher ranking on search engines. This helps to send more blog traffice to your website and increase your list building. If you are in business and you don’t have a blog you are basically leaving money on the table. Blogging is becoming essential and will also help raise your web presence. Also, as mentioned above it will help you to stay in touch quickly and easily with all of your business leads and customer base. Not only will it help to increase your customer base but it will also help to increase your pocketbook.

Most of the marketing training will say how important your list of subscribers is to the success of your internet marketing business. If you regularly add new content to your blog, this will help to retain and increase your opt-in subscribers and your web presence. So increase your list building with your blog by setting up an RSS feed. If you’re using Blogger as I mentioned in my last blog, just turn on RSS feed by clicking on settings in your dashboard and clicking on site feed. Make sure your settings are set to yes.

Be sure to subscribe to my Blog by clicking on the RSS feed link.

Great explanation of RSS Feeds and their importance in staying in touch with your readers. You have spelled it out that it’s simple to use and can be very effective for your reader base and building a web presence. Also, I never thought about the advantage it has in that it avoids email spam filters and blocking software…very informative post.
